SAGE stands for Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies The coronavirus is not the first time SAGE has been activated – there have been eight previous emergencies in the last 11 years, since its conception, when the government has sought expert scientific advice through the SAGE mechanism. The first meeting of the SAGE was in 2009 to consider the Swine Flu outbreak.

SPI-B stands for Scientific Pandemic Insights Group on Behaviours

The British Govt put out an official document titled The role of behavioural science in the coronavirus outbreak on the 14th of March 2020 ie a week before the announcement of a lockdown

What is “SPI-B?”

•During the corona virus outbreak, scientific advice to the UK Government is co-ordinated by the Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies (SAGE). SAGE is co-chaired by Sir Patrick Vallance (Government Chief Science Advisor) and Professor Chris Whitty (Chief Medical Officer).

Many issues around the coronavirus response relate to behaviour. During the 2009/10 ‘swine flu’pandemic, SAGE received advice from a subgroup called the Scientific Pandemic Influenza group on Behaviour and Communications (SPI-B&C). On 13 February 2020, SAGE decided to reconvene this group, limiting its remit to behaviour (SPI-B

The new disease had just been named in 11th February 2020

On 12th February the BBC reported that the 9th Briton had caught the virus ….. there didn’t seem to be any deaths till the 12 th of February 2020

The group in turn did provide advise to the Govt This is from a March 22 article (2 days before the lock down began)

Guidance now needs to be reformulated to be behaviorally specific: who needs to do what(precisely) and why(explain the rationale)and communicated through channels that provide personalised advice and account for individual circumstances including SMS messaging and an interactive website

The perceived level of personal threat needs to be increased among those who are complacent, using hard-hitting emotional messaging. To be effective this must also empower people by making clear the actions they can take to reduce the threat

Social approval can be a powerful source of reward. Not only can this be provided directly by highlighting examples of good practice and providing strong social encouragement and approval in communications;members of the community can be encouraged to provide it to each other

On 25th Feb a MONTH before the lockdown is declared he SPI-B amd local police Chiefs (NPCC) are talking to the Govt about law and order

Which means the lockdown officially declared in March 2020 had already been predecided and a done deal by Feb 24 when just 9 Britons had Covid19 and no one had died from it

At the February 24 th meeting the SPI-B a team of psychiatrists and policemen set up to make decisions on a medical problem reached the following conclusions

•SPI-B agreed that large scale rioting is unlikely.

•Where public disorder occurs,it is usually triggered by perceptions about the Government’s response, rather than the nature of the epidemic per se. For example, a perception that the Government response strategies are not effective in looking after the public may lead to an increase in tensions.

The new slogans advocated by Boris Johnson and designed by the Government’s Behavioural Insights Team use the mass psychology theory known as Nudge Theory, which aims to modify behaviour on a large-scale. It has been pointed out that the change in the colour scheme of the COVID-19 messaging from red to green is a psychological prompt from ‘stop’ to ‘go’, with the word “Alert” designed to energise us.

The Behavioural Insights Team (BIT), also known unofficially as the Nudge Unit, is social purpose organisation that generates and applies behavioural insights to inform policy and improve public services. BIT works in partnership with governments, local authorities, non-profits, and businesses to tackle major policy problems.

Originally set up within the UK Cabinet Office to apply nudge theory within British government in 2010 , BIT became a social purpose limited company in 2014. Its work now spans across seven offices, having run more than 750 projects in and conducted over 500 randomised controlled trial (RCTs). The Behavioural Insights Team is headed by psychologist David Halpern.who is Jewish Halpern a psychologist and civil servant heads the Behavioural Insights Team He is not a medical doctor

WHY any Government would require a team of psychiatrists to manipulate public opinion during a genuine pandemic is beyond logic

The only possible explanation is that Covid19 is not a pandemic at all but a well a well planned psyop
